UDS 6-10 grade curriculum:

Since the 2019-20 academic year, Union Day School has been the only area school to offer the International Baccalaureate® (IB) program to all students beginning in sixth grade. Learn more about how the IB gives students distinct advantages, by building their critical thinking skills, nurturing their curiosity and their ability to solve complex problems.

UDS is proud to be undertaking the authorization process to become an IB School that offers the IB Middle Years Programme® (MYP).

Please note this disclaimer: Union Day school is currently applying for candidacy status to be able to offer the IB MYP in grades 6-9. Until such time that UDS is accepted as an IB MYP candidate school, Union Day claims no affiliation with the IB organization and our ability to offer the IB MYP at UDS is contingent on being accepted as a candidate school. UDS will be informed of its candidacy status in Fall 2022

Middle School Grades 6 - 8

Union Day School is a Candidate School* for the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP)®. UDS is pursuing authorization as an IB World School. These are schools that share a common philosophy—a commitment to high quality, challenging, international education that UDS believes is important for our students.

*- Only schools authorized by the IB Organization can offer any of its four academic programmes: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), the Diploma Programme (DP), or the Career-related Programme (CP). High School Grades 9 - 12

Our 9th grade students entering UDS for the 2022-23 school year will be members of the "Class of '26," our first graduating class at Union Day School!
